Captain D

The Captain D is a former US Coast Guard vessel that travels once a week from Bluefields to Corn Island. It is a large and comfortable ship but is also somewhat slow. The timetable is subject to change and the service is often changed at the last minute.

Bluefields – Corn Island        Jueves 1000    Arrives 1800

The Captain D is also occasionally known to make the trip to Puerto Cabezas.

Rio Escondido

The state run Rio Escondido is the smaller of the two vessels running the Rama-Bluefields-Corn Island Route however it is also significantly faster than the Captain D.
